How do I install SmartCAD after downloading it?
 
Run the downloaded SETUP.exe file, click INSTALL on the welcome screen, follow the wizard through the license agreement and folder selection, then click FINISH. The whole process takes about 2 minutes. Full guide with screenshots.
Where do I find my license key (Product No.)?
 
Your username (ID) and license key (Product No.) are sent by email immediately after purchase. Check your inbox and spam folder. If you can’t find it, contact us and we’ll resend it.
Can I install SmartCAD on more than one computer?
 
Each license covers one installation at a time. If you need multi-seat licensing for a team, contact us for volume pricing options.
Activation fails — “internet connection required” error
 
License activation requires a working internet connection. Make sure you’re online and try again. If your company uses a firewall or proxy, temporarily disable it for activation. After activation SmartCAD works completely offline.
Does SmartCAD support my LISP routines from AutoCAD?
 
Yes, but only in the Professional edition. Load your .lsp files via Tools → Load Application. VBA macros and .NET plugins are also supported in Professional. Compare editions.
How do I import my AutoCAD keyboard shortcuts (PGP file)?
 
Go to Tools → Customize → Import PGP File and select your acad.pgp. All custom aliases and shortcuts are imported instantly.
