Installation

Extract the downloaded ZIP file
After downloading SmartCAD, you’ll have a
.zip file. Right-click it and choose Extract All…, or click Extract all in the Windows toolbar. Wait for extraction to finish before continuing.
Right-click the downloaded ZIP → Extract All…

Run the Setup executable
Open the extracted folder. Double-click
SmartCAD_XXXX_x64_Setup.exe to launch the installer. If Windows asks “Allow this app to make changes?” click Yes.

Click Install on the welcome screen
The SmartCAD Setup dialog opens. Click Install to begin. Do not close this window during setup.

Bypass Windows SmartScreen (if it appears)
Windows Defender SmartScreen may flag the installer because SmartCAD is published by an independent software vendor. This is expected. Follow the two steps below to proceed safely.
How to get past SmartScreen
- 1When you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info in the lower-left of the dialog.
- 2The dialog expands and shows the publisher (SOFTLOID Co., Ltd.). Click Run anyway to continue installation.

SmartCAD is digitally signed by SOFTLOID Co., Ltd. (South Korea). Verify the publisher name in the SmartScreen dialog matches this before clicking Run anyway.

Setup Wizard welcome — click Next
The full Setup Wizard opens. Click Next to proceed to the license agreement.

Accept the License Agreement
Check “I accept the terms in the License Agreement”, then click Next.
Check the agreement box, then click Next

Start the installation — click Install
The wizard shows a “Ready to install” screen. Click Install to begin copying files. This typically takes 2–4 minutes.

Complete the installation
When files finish copying, two screens appear in sequence. First click Close on the completion splash, then click Finish on the wizard’s final screen. SmartCAD will appear on your desktop.

Installation complete. SmartCAD is now on your desktop. You can run it in 30-day trial mode immediately — or proceed to Phase 2 below to enter your license key.

License Activation
Your ID and Product No. are sent to your email within 1–3 business days of purchase. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it. Need help? Contact us.

Open the Registration window in SmartCAD
Launch SmartCAD from your desktop. In the ribbon, click the Help tab. In the Support group, click Registration.

Enter your ID and Product No., then Authenticate
The Online Auth screen opens. Enter your ID and your Product No. (the 4-segment license key from your purchase email) exactly as shown. Click Authenticate.

Product numbers are case-sensitive. The letters
l (lowercase L) and O (uppercase O) are treated as the numbers 1 and 0 respectively — don’t confuse them.3
Activation confirmed — you’re done
A dialog confirms: “User authentication completed successfully.” Click OK. Your license is now permanently activated — no renewal, no recurring fees.

Alternative method
Offline (No-Internet) Activation
If your computer has no internet access, you can activate SmartCAD using the Offline Auth method. This requires a second device with internet access to complete the registration on the SmartCAD website.

In the Registration window, choose Offline Auth from the left menu instead of Online Auth.

SmartCAD will generate a Request Code on screen. Write it down or photograph it.

On a device with internet, visit the SmartCAD registration portal and enter your ID, Product No., and Request Code to receive an Authorization Code.

Enter the Authorization Code back in the Offline Auth screen on your computer and click Authenticate.
